Monroe County Chapter

November 20, 2009 - The chapter has received a $3,500 grant for disasters.  Our thanks go out to the John D. Grubb and Louise G. Sumner Fund for Monroe County of the East Tennessee Foundation.

A local youth raised money on her own to purchase 250 books to be put in comfort kits for kids ages 5-18.           (Please note that the date in the photo is incorrect.)

Clayton Homes Executive presenting a donation for $1,600 to Dawn Hambelton, Board Member, and  Pat Fuller, Volunteer.

 Kiwanis Club of Madisonville president, Ann Martin Me, presents a $300 donation to Denny Westby and Tim Moree.  The donation is for the purchase of comfort kits to aid those displaced by residential fires or other emergency or disaster situations.
